while the new york yankees celebrated their last night in Yankee stadium, your was doing it up real big himself at the crib. I realized that today was the first day of fall, which is tight. And with a lot of other peoples exgirlfriends in town this weekend, i think i realized that I'd rather just drink PBR and watch sports on TV than be in a realtionship these days. but thats neither here nor there, because your boy was doing it up big last night. anybody who cares will find out sooner or later what i mean

LONG TIME!!!!

Okay its been all summer since we last got up with you guys about whats going on. Basically the Hotels spent the first 2 months of summer up in new york recording a new album, that should be available in December or something. The Good Moods kicked it here for the summer and made Heart Beats, their new LP. No face, on the other hand, just moved back to Atlanta to be a close working part of the grapetree community, so we're pretty excited. Jack Terrell, master of ceremony and chief of concrete studios is also back on board and we're all very very excited about that.

I donno where Goodnight Mush is...boston or something???

Going to Prom

The Good Moods and The Hotels are playing at Grady High School Prom this year. Its at the Atlanta Zoo on May 3rd. I'm getting less excited everyday about that, but hopefully it'll be tight.

I'm trying to get a sound permit so we can throw another big ass party in Joels backyard or at the Portal or wherever. So, if anybody knows anything about that, that would be awesome. If I'm reading correctly what i found is that we're well within our rights as far as sound volume goes. Maybe we should just blow the money on an alcohol license.

AHHHH APRIL!

I hope everyone had a great April Fools Day. I know i sure did. Boy, just fucking with people and just basically understanding that the entire is one big joke on everybody is really awesome. There was some joke today by some polar bear conservancy about moving polar bears to the united states to protect them from climate change. My favorite was gmail.com's. They claimed to be able to send emails back in time, just in case you miss some important date. Every user "get ten of these a year". i thought it was funny. Another good one (which is not confirmed or dis confirmed as an april fools joke is the name to the new weezer album. "Red Album". I think that would be awesome anyway.
fuck weezer

But for all those not in Atlanta, im sorry, its beautiful outside.

April Second Show @ Unicorn

We're a Music Collective from Atlanta, GA. Some of you might know us, some might not...but I guess thats what the blogs are for. We are made of up local Atlanta artist such as No Face, The Good Moods, Goodnight Mush, The Hotels, MLK, The Ninjas, Deathpill and so on. We make indie rock, folk pop, experimental dance-ish music that sound like weird mash ups of outkast and yo la tengo. hey, why don't you just listen to us??

We're basically promoting this show April 2nd 2007 down at the neighborhood Drunken Unicorn here in ATL. If you live in atlanta you should come out and get krunk. $7 at the door 18+ and lots of noise. The Good Moods headline with guests The Hotels (thats me) and Goodnight Mush.
